The design objective of this project was to create a piece that could be spotted in a wizard’s tower. I leaned into celestial elements as those are seen frequently throughout magical imagery and felt appropriate to the idea of “bringing light.” To add to the magic, I made a secret switch to turn on the lamp, indicated by a sun charm.
